The Shoes That Work With Everything in My Closet
Confession: I wasn't so sure about these shoes upon first purchase. Are they loafers? A brand-new hybrid of a sneaker and a pointy toed flat? However, after a few weeks they quickly became the MVP of my wardrobe rotation.
They’re the perfect shoe to wear when I want to dress casually, but inject a tiny bit of polish. The pointy toe takes them from “nurse shoe” to elevated flat, all while giving me the ability to conquer an entire city with their ultra-walkable support (they're made with four layers of foam, so they're more substantial than flimsy flats or slides). They did require a little bit of breaking in, but after the first few wears I was set to stride.
I’ve worn these with flouncy dresses, jumpsuits, and skinny jeans, and plan on wearing them straight through into fall and then winter because "No white after Labor Day" is the most outdated "rule" ever). There’s seemingly no combination these shoes won’t work with.
