You Can Now Use ClassPass Credits for Luxury Fitness Vacations
If we're being real, jogging on a treadmill that faces a cinderblock wall is a quick way to bore yourself into hating exercise. That's why fitness retreats—weekend wellness trips in exotic destinations—are changing the fitness game. (Yoga mat, meet margarita. Margarita, meet yoga mat.) ClassPass—the popular fitness membership that gives users access to workout classes across studio lines— is making the luxe experience more accessible than ever.
This morning, ClassPass announced the launch of ClassPass Getaways, which is basically a weekend wellness retreat for people who love vacation but hate the monotony of the gym (so, all of us). Each "getaway" takes members to a luxury destination where they'll experience a carefully curated itinerary full of niche fitness programming, wellness treatments, and savory, feel-good foods.
The best part? Members can use ClassPass credits to "pay" for the getaways, which are bookable only through ClassPass.com and the ClassPass app.
"At ClassPass we aim to provide stepping stones toward an active and inspired lifestyle, and ClassPass Getaways will do just that," said Payal Kadakia, ClassPass's founder in a press release. "We’re thrilled to give members the opportunity to take a mini-escape from their day-to-day to try new things and explore unfamiliar places. It’s our hope that attendees will leave feeling energized and empowered to continue living life to their absolute fullest."
The exact locations for ClassPass Getaways are being kept under wraps, but members can expect details for the first Getaway—which is just one out of an upcoming series of wellness retreats—to roll out on August 29th, with booking open a week prior.
