Lupita Nyong'o has given us yet another amazing look to obsess over. The critically acclaimed actress, who never hesitates to make a bold statement with her makeup, stepped out to the London Picturehouse Central screening of her newest movie, Us, looking edgier than ever.

The actress gave major Twilight vibes by wearing a pair of bright red contacts to match her full-length, sequined red gown. (And for those that need a quick refresher, vampires in the Twilight universe that drink human blood, unlike hazel-eyed vegetarian Edward Cullen, have red eyes.)

To pick up on the hints of black in her dress and to add contrast to her red eyes, Nyong'o's makeup artist opted for a charcoal black smoky eye concentrated at the eyelid and blended the color up to her brows, which were filled in with a dark pencil.

For the rest of her face, Nyong'o settled for simple dewy foundation and fuschia colored blush blended up to her temples. A black licorice lipstick with a satin finish completes the entire look.

Nyong'o's makeup look possibly reflects the dark nature of the Jordan Peele-directed movie. During a visit on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on March 13, the actress said the movie is "a nightmare from Jordan Peele’s mind,” and that she "had to go to some dark places" within herself in order to accurately play her dual roles of Adelaide and Adelaide’s doppelgänger, Red. Us is set to arrive in theaters on March 22.
