Exclusive: Too Faced and Pop & Suki Collaborate on a "Better Than Sex" Makeup Case
If there was ever a color that truly captures the essence of Gen-Z and the current zeitgeist, it would easily be, without a question, everyone’s beloved color since 2016—millennial pink. Sure, Gen-Z yellow is slowly giving the pink hue a run for its money on Instagram, but pink has proved it has staying power. See: the new Pop & Suki x Too Faced collaboration.
Too Faced summoned Pop & Suki (the accessories brand co-created by Suki Waterhouse and former TV personality Poppy Jamie) to design a vegan makeup case inspired by Too Faced’s cult-favorite best-seller: Better Than Sex mascara. Doused in dreamy bubble-gum pink, the vegan leather case speaks to the signature aesthetic of both of the millennial pink-flavored brands and features gold hardware, the logos of each brand embossed on one side, while the words "Better Than Sex?" are cheekily inscribed on the opposite side of the case.
Ransacking your beauty bag without creating a mess in your vanity is no easy feat—and Waterhouse and Jamie know the feeling all too well.
"When Suki and I lived together a few years ago, our bathroom surface was a complete wreck 24/7 because we had to pull out all of our makeup in order to find anything in our fully stuffed makeup bags," Poppy Jamie told ELLE.com. "We didn't understand why most makeup cases have such a narrow opening along the top, forcing you to spend hours rummaging through your case to find anything. So we decided to design a makeup case that has a top flap for easy access to all your products, as well as sturdy structure to keep all of your makeup safe and protected, and the perfect size for traveling."
And it all started with a simple Instagram DM.
"Too Faced have been an absolute dream to work with. Our brands are so organically aligned that we immediately agreed on everything; the Pantone [color] of the case, the vegan material it's made from, the slogan printed on the top, and of course our two logos work so well together on the bottom of the case and on all the hardware," Waterhouse added. "As we are both pink, millennial-focused brands, everything from the case to the branding to the marketing was a perfect, natural fit."

“[The collaboration] actually came together quite naturally because our brands complement each other so well," Blandino said. "We wanted the makeup cases to be in our classic Too Faced soft pink shade and was sure to include all of the stylish and modern flair of the Pop & Suki bags we so love, like the gold hardware to the protective lining inside the case so that makeup won’t stain, to the bamboo silk pink dust bags to make traveling with your makeup case easy!"
The limited-edition collection (like, really limited-edition—only 100 cases were created) retails for a cool $65 ($88 retail value) and includes a full-sized Better Than Sex mascara.
