Blake Lively Sure Is Wearing a Lot of Lively Suits
Hey, Upper East Siders, if there's one thing Blake Lively guarantees during her press tours, it's a show-stopping sartorial marathon and boyyyy did she up the ante on her latest run, wearing a series of particularly loud pantsuits.
Going the extra mile to promote her new film A Simple Favor, Lively seems to be dressing in sync with her character Emily's prim and proper style.
Let's break it all down:
B stepped out this past Friday (in nearly 90 degree heat) in the first of many menswear-themed outfits she'd be spotted wearing throughout her weekend-long press tour: a blue velvet Brunello Cucinelli suit with a burgundy velvet suit jacket layered on top.
Naturally, the jacket was removed because...it was 87 degrees.
Next came this neon green Versace suit, which was plucked straight off the Versace Spring/Summer 2019 runway show at Milan Men's Fashion Week in June. Lively added a touch of femininity to the menswear look and paired the suit with pink Christian Louboutin bejeweled heels, Lorraine Schwartz jewels, and a hot pink lip.

On day two, the former Upper East Sider journeyed back to her Gossip Girl prep school roots and stunned in a very busy plaid/checkered Roland Mouret suit and tie, and accessorized with an embellished cream clutch.
This purple and green snake print Bottega Venetta shorts suit and Stuart Weitzman heels is a lotta look.
Lively wore a cream and black pinstripe three-piece suit from Zimmerman Resort 2019 for her last stop on this pantsuit press tour. Underneath the sleeveless vest, Lively wore a sheer lace collared shirt and nude heels.

With just a few weeks until the thriller officially debuts in theaters, it's likely B has a lot more enviable looks up her (menswear-inspired) sleeve.
