All the Summer Beauty Secrets I Learned From Model Bianca Balti
Bianca Balti always looks like she's on vacation. The 34-year-old Italian model and longtime face of Dolce & Gabbana (14 years!) is constantly on the beach—showing off swimwear, surfing with her daughter, enjoying a sunset—so if anyone's an expert in travel beauty, it's her. I recently caught up with Balti to celebrate the launch of Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue Italian Zest fragrance (which smells delightfully like a fresh basket of lemons), and lucky for us, she divulged her summer beauty routine. Find out her workout plan, on-flight essentials, and more ahead.

Her current beauty routine: "I love to keep things simple. With a good tan and the sea salt in my hair, I feel naturally more beautiful. So, I barely wear makeup. I make sure to have a good pedicure at all times."
Her choice travel spot: "My favorite place to travel in the summer is Italy, go visit my family and feel like a kid again. Everything from the landscape to the smells, the food and the Mediterranean Sea takes me back to the joy of childhood summer vacations."
Her favorite island in the world: "Capri, for its unique perfection. It's so beautiful: It takes my breath away every time."

Her pre-flight beauty ritual: "I always make sure to remove my makeup and moisturize my skin. I also apply oil in my hair to keep it hydrated during the flight."
Her post flight-beauty ritual: "I'll try to hit the gym and book a massage."
Inside her beauty bag: "A gentle scrub cleanser, a moisturizer with SPF 50, eye cream, a very natural foundation, and my favorite perfume, Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Italian Zest."
Her hair routine on the road: "I always have the same approach, which is very easy going: I never blow-dry my hair, especially when I'm traveling for vacations. I love what the sea does to my hair."
Her travel "don't": "Don't pack bottles that can open in your luggage! I put all my products in travel-size containers."
Her travel workout plan: "I usually take it easy. I'm not obsessed, so I just try to stay active: take long walks, hikes, and swim. Back home, I do cardio, barre, and surf; I don't like the gym, machines, and weights so I use the natural resources of the place I'm traveling to.
